SR Human Resources Manager

Our client, is leading multi-facility component manufacturer, has an excellent opportunity for a strategic and hands-on, results driven SR Human Resources Manager. This newly created role will report to the President and will be an integral part of the senior management team. This role will lead the HR function for two locations in IL.   Position: SR Human Resources Manager    Location: Schiller Park, IL  The SR Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading all HR functions including but not limited to employee & labor relations, performance management, salary administration, recruiting, training & development, benefits, and deployment of HR policies and procedures. Experiencing acting as an employee champion and change agent for the business. Experience engaging employees while ensuring internal customers are receiving best in class HR service. Experience with benefits and compensation plans, performance management processes, training & development, and recruiting for non-exempt and exempt roles.  General Requirements   Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related discipline 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting and 3+ years in a management or busienss partner role.  Must be bilingual - English/ Spanish. Must possess the ability to build relationships with operational and functional leaders across the organization Employee relations experience in a unionized facility or union avoidance experience a plus! Demonstrated HR acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills. PHR, SPHR or another certification, preferred but not required. Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and other relevant HR regulations and guidelines Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication Through knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills) and experience with an HRIS solution. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
