- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Take and record vital signs of patients - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with medical coding and billing processes - Manage and organize dental supplies and inventory - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Skills:
- Proficiency in EagleSoft or similar dental practice management systems - Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures - Familiarity with medical records management and documentation - Ability to take and develop dental x-rays - Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients.
