Responsibilities:
Set up and break down coffee setup at farmers' markets/events Greet customers warmly, and create a friendly and inviting atmosphere Speak confidently about our unique Air Roasting process, and exhibit expertise in knowledge of our coffee lineup Sell whole bean and ground bagged coffee Serve up fresh brewed hot and iced coffee Handle transactions and operate our POS system (Square) Keep the market space stocked and looking fresh Pack and weigh coffee into bags, ensuring quality and consistency Contribute to the positive Gigawatt team environment Compensation Training Period $15/hr $150 per market day
3% market commission
tips 2-3 days per week as a 1099 Independent Contractor Training Evening and weekend training period required Requirements:
18 years or older Availability on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) Commitment to Farmers Market Season from May through October Early morning availability (5 am start to 2 pm) Must be willing to travel to Schaumburg, Palatine, Frankfort, Tinley Park, Elgin Outdoor warrior - ready for heat, cold, rain, and wind Stamina to stand for at least 6 hours at a stretch Muscles ready for lifting up to 50lbs Alignment with our core values:
