Summary:
Works effectively and efficiently in a dispatch and warehouse environment to receive, schedule shipment and freight operations, including a working knowledge of warehouse organization, creating proper and detailed shipping documentation.
Works with shipping and warehouse team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Position
Responsibilities:
Efficiently works within a busy dispatch department.
Cleans, packs, and unpacks orders while maintaining department schedule.
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product.
Effectively uses organization systems and warehouse technology to locate and gather stock.
Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information.
Problem solves for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items and rush orders.
Performs administrative duties like answering phones, updating records and providing excellent customer service.
Liaises with material handler(s), coordinators and managers about product ordering and storage.
Collaboratively perform receipt inspection on incoming material with the Quality Inspector.
Responsible for arranging pick-up of finished goods by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order.
Responsible for notifying the Supply Chain Coordinator the status of shipping materials/supplies in stock to ensure there is adequate amount in stock.
Works well with other team members to complete orders on time.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on material handling equipment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
