Family owned friendly company is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and is proficient in using accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Assist with payroll processing and tax filings - Billing of daily shipments and BOL's - Maintain confidentiality of financial information - Filing and other duties as they arise Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role - Solid understanding of basic billing principles and procedures - Proficient in using Quick Book - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Note:
This position requires strong skills in balance sheet reconciliation, debits/credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliation, 10-key typing, tax, payroll.
